Our Story

Vildosola Racing, founded by Gustavo Vildósola Sr., has been a prominent force in off-road racing since 1968. The team has achieved numerous milestones, notably becoming the first Mexican national team to secure an overall victory at the Baja 1000 in 2010, with Gus Sr. and his son, Tavo Vildósola, completing the race in 19:00:04 hours.

In 2003, Vildosola Racing, with Gus Sr. and Rob MacCachren sharing driving duties, won the San Felipe 250, marking the first overall victory for a Mexican team in a SCORE International event.

The team continued its success with multiple victories in the San Felipe 250, including consecutive wins in 2013, 2014, and 2015.

In the 2023 Baja 1000, Tavo Vildósola joined Bryce Menzies and Andy McMillin to win the race and secure Menzies' SCORE Trophy Truck season championship. They completed the 1,310-mile course in 22 hours, 35 minutes, at an average speed of 58.03 mph.

In 2024, Tavo partnered with Jason McNeil for the Baja 1000,  Despite a strong performance, they finished in second place overall, narrowly missing the top spot by 1 point.

He also secured podium finishes throughout the season, reinforcing his status as a top competitor in off-road racing.

Overall, Vildosola Racing's dedication and achievements have solidified their status as a leading team in the off-road racing community.
